New Testament Assembly Jamaica Hosts 71st National Convention

A Weekend of Worship, Empowerment, and Fellowship

The New Testament Assembly Jamaica will celebrate its 71st National Convention with two impactful days of worship, leadership development, and celebration. The event brings together ministers, members, and congregations from across Jamaica for a time of renewal, recommitment, and connection.

Saturday, October 18 — Hope Bay New Testament Assembly

The weekend begins at 10:00 a.m. with the Ministers’ Empowerment Session — a hybrid experience focused on spiritual growth and ministry leadership.
After a 1:00 p.m. lunch break, activities resume at 2:00 p.m. with the Conference of Ministers Election and Open Forum, featuring engaging discussions with the National Executive Board (NEB).

Sunday, October 19 — Moneague Teachers’ College, St. Ann

The second day opens at 10:00 a.m. with Divine Worship, including the Consecration and Induction Ceremony, Recommissioning, and Repurposing of Pastors.
A 2:00 p.m. lunch break follows before the 4:00 p.m. Rally of the Churches, showcasing unity and islandwide participation.
The evening will close with a 6:00 p.m. Worship Session, marking the spiritual high point of the convention.
